How does the Captivate Card work?

Customers save your card to their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet... It's just a tap or a scan, and your business is on their phone. From that point on, you're no longer at the mercy of an algorithm, you're in control again. Instantly broadcast time-sensitive updates directly to every pass holder's lock screen. Your messages bypass spam filters, email inboxes, and social media algorithms, landing directly on the lock screen. This method offers the highest possible message visibility, giving you certainty that your important update has been seen, it's the most effective way to cut through the noise of email and social media and drive immediate action.

Is Captivate Card an app?

No. There’s nothing to download. No logins. No friction.

How do my customers get my card?

We provide you with a unique QR code and a web link. You can embed or add the link to your website, social media profiles, and email signatures. You can display the QR code at your entrance, cash register, on tables, or on flyers.

Is this complicated to manage?

No. If you can send a text or email, you can use Captivate Card.

What about GDPR regulations?

Captivate Cards are installed in the Apple or Google wallet on the phone of the user, and protected by strong encryption. The system is designed to prevent unnecessary data collection, and enhance privacy. No personal data is shared. Analytics will show the number of times your card has been installed, messages opened, and links clicked, but not individual users or personally identifying information. Your audience is private, and all communication is broadcast-only.

Is this the same as a digital Business Card?

Not at al!

A digital business card shares contact information.

A Captivate Card wallet pass creates an ongoing communication channel.

That’s not a small difference. That’s the difference between a handshake and a relationship.

On a side note: if you do wish to have a virtual business card, we can include that in your card design so anyone who installs your card can automatically get your virtual business card also.

Where do messages show up?

On the customer’s lock screen as a wallet notification, and on your Captivate Card itself.

Will customers see too many notifications?

No. You control when messages are sent, and are limited to twice a day maximum. This is designed for restraint, not spam.

Can I message customers when they’re nearby?

Yes. Geo-alerts can trigger when a customer enters a defined area near your business, and these do not count towards your notification limits.
